Welcome to the military life section of our site. As our group is dedicated to teaching, we have set up this and other sections of the site with that in mind. In this section we will cover many different aspects of military life in the time period of 1450. The articles in this section range from the making and care of armor to heraldry and weapons, as well as many other subjects. Each of the sections is intended to not only show life in the time period, but to also help you to learn some of the skills you would have needed as a soldier of the time. In the case of the "how-to" articles, many of our craft masters have spent years learning their respective trades and have been kind enough to take the time to share some of their skills through these articles. While learning through the web is handy and in some cases the only option individuals may have, we encourage those of you that can to make a trip out to your local events so you can learn this material first hand. For many of these skills, learning them is best done hands on. In some cases our craftmasters have consented to have their e-mail addresses included on the site to allow those of you with questions a way to contact them. Please feel free to contact these individuals with your questions.
