[England]King Henry V died of dysentery. His brother, Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester, will look after his young son Henry VI.
[France]King Charles VI died. His son was disinherited by the Treaty of Troyes in 1420, making Henry VI the rightful heir to the King of France.

English defeat the French at Cravant
[Scotland] James I is freed from English prison
1424 The English defeat the French at Verneuil
1428 Oct - The Duke of Bedford leading an English army surround the French town of Orleans and the seige begins.

Feb - [France]Joan of Arc visits Charles VII and is granted an audience
Apr - Charles gives Joan a small army and she sets of to free Orleans from the English.
Apr 29 - Joan reached Orleans and managed to enter the town. There she raised the morale of the citizens trapped by the English siege.
May 8 - The English moved out of Orleans, the seige is lifted.
